MY SARAH'S WOMB SHALL SWIM IN GLORY

MY SARAH'S WOMB SHALL SWIM IN GLORY

“I’m coming back about this time next year. When I arrive, your wife Sarah will have a son.” ... Abraham and Sarah were old by this time, very old. Sarah was far past the age for having babies. Sarah laughed within herself, “An old woman like me? Get pregnant? With this old man of a husband?” God said to Abraham, “Why did Sarah laugh saying, ‘Me? Have a baby? An old woman like me?’ Is anything too hard for God ? I’ll be back about this time next year and Sarah will have a baby.” - Genesis 18:10-14 (MSG)

Several years ago, God use the life of a couple to proof to the whole world that the word "impossibility" doesn't exist in His dictionary. A 99 year old man was told that his 90 year old wife will conceive naturally, give birth and breastfeed her own child. When the couple heard the news, they thought Heaven wanted to use their house to shoot the latest comedy movie in town. The news sounded like a big joke and the aged couple couldn’t resist the urge to laugh profusely for a while (Genesis 17:17, & 18:12). So, is God a liar? How can a woman who has passed the age of childbearing become a mother?

There are times when it appears that God is a liar. When His promises sound like a joke. When our present conditions contradict the blueprint of God for our lives. When the womb of our testimony has been locked up permanently by nature or circumstances beyond our controls.  And when efforts made to help ourselves like Sarah seems to plunge us deep further into the ocean of ridicule and mockery (Genesis 16 :4).

"God is not a man; he will not lie. God is not a human being; his decisions will not change. If he says he will do something, then he will do it. If he makes a promise, then he will do what he promised. ....” - Numbers 23:19-20 (ERV)

Beloved, God cannot lie and there is absolutely nothing that is too difficult/hard for him to do (Genesis 18:14). It doesn’t matter how dead your Sarah's womb is. It doesn’t even matter how long you have being swimming in the ocean of mockery and barrenness. At the appointed time, the Almighty God will fulfill the promises He made to you as He did to Father Abraham and Mummy Sarah. Yes, if you dare to believe, the Impossibility Specialist will visit your home and speak life into the dead womb of your Sarah.

"Abraham didn’t focus on his own impotence and say, “It’s hopeless. This hundred-year-old body could never father a child.” Nor did he survey Sarah’s decades of infertility and give up. He didn’t tiptoe around God’s promise asking cautiously skeptical questions. He plunged into the promise and came up strong, ready for God, sure that God would make good on what he had said"- Romans 4:19-21 (MSG)

Friends, are you swimming in the sea of unfulfilled promises? Has the ocean of impossibility submerged your Sarah's womb? Why not trust God for a divine visitation this week? Then, I can assure you that your Sarah's womb shall swim in glory,  conceive and deliver your Isaac at the set time of life in the mighty name of Jesus.

The lyrics of an old Christian hymn titled "He Faileth Not, For He Is God" speak volume on the subject. Please let us meditate on the wording of this wonderful hymn as we trust God to bring to pass all His long outstanding promises to us.

HE FAILETH NOT, FOR HE IS GOD by Margaret E. Barber (1869 - 1930)

He faileth not, for He is God;
He faileth not, His grace how good!
He faileth not, His Word is clear;
If we have God, whom need we fear?

The highest mount, He can make plain;
The wildest flood, He can restrain!
God of Impossibilities!
Poor puny man, now learn His ways.

The axe did swim on Jordan’s wave!
Our God the Red Sea’s waters clave!
He stopped the sun! made long the day!
This is the God to whom we pray.

He bars the sea with feeble sand!
The proud waves bow at His command!
If God is thine, what more your need?
Can He not work for you indeed?

Our God is love; your needs are known;
His promises He’ll fully own.
Our gracious God bows down His ear
The feeblest, weakest cry to hear.

Our God is light, and never yet,
One promise did He e’er forget.
His promises in Christ the Son
Are fully pledged, Yea and Amen.

Our faithful God, faith cannot break,
Nor death, nor hell, His promise shake!
Ask in faith, He’ll not deny;
His Word is sure, He must reply.

He faileth not, let all men hear;
He faileth not, His Word is clear.
He faileth not, His grace how good;
He faileth not, for He is God!"

As the Lord God of heaven lives, the season of barrenness, delay, stagnation, frustration,  mockery (spiritually,  materially,  emotionally,  financially  academically,  maritally) shall come to an end in your life before this week is over. All long awaiting promises shall be fulfilled and the womb of our Sarah shall swim in glory in Jesus name. Amen
