As we approach the end of year 2020, I remembered the lyrics of a wonderful hymn titled "Eternal Father, Strong to Save." The hymn which was composed by an English writer and hymnist named William Whiting is one of those captivating songs that reminds me of God's mighty act of deliverance in the stormy sea of life. Like the psalmist, many of us have seen the wonder working power of God in action this year. We have seen God calming the restless wave, speaking peace to the stormy sea and satisfying us with His abiding presence wherever we go. Yes, we can boldly attest to the fact that the Eternal Father have been our ever present help in times of need (Psalms 46:1-2).
"God is a safe place to hide, ready to help when we need him. We stand fearless at the cliff-edge of doom, courageous in seastorm and earthquake,.." - Psalms 46:1-2 (MSG)
Beloved, I hope you can also relate with the testimony of the psalmist in the above scripture? In less than 24hours from now, the ship of 2020 will finally reach the shore. The journey through the stormy sea of year 2020 will be over shortly. Don't you think that the Eternal Father has been extremely good to you and your entire household throughout this turbulent voyage of year 2020. From January till today, He never allowed your ship/boat to capsize despite many hurdles or icebergs on the way. He did not allow the same stormy wind that had crushed many precious lives and families this year to swallow your household. He bound the restless waves from sweeping your entire family into the deep sea of endless sorrow and pains. Don't you think that the Eternal Father deserves your adoration today? If your answer is "yes", then, why not join me to adore the Eternal Father (God) for preserving us, our family, friends and relatives from the peril of the sea this year by singing this wonderful hymn below.
ETERNAL FATHER, STRONG TO SAVE

Friends, is God truly your Eternal Father? He cannot be your Eternal Father if you have not surrendered to the Lordship of His only begotten son - Jesus Christ. So, why not make that great decision today. And as you do, the Eternal Father will make you the apple of His eyes and calm all the storms on the journey to the shore of year 2021. As the Lord lives, you and your loved ones will surely sail safely into year 2021 and beyond with overwhelming glory in Jesus name.
