ACTIVATING THE BUY BACK CLAUSE
BOUGHT WITH A PRICE by Charles Austin Miles (1868 - 1946)
‘Twas the life of Christ, my Lord,
Paid my ransom, set me free;
He redeemed me by his blood
Shed on the cross of Calvary.
Refrain:
Bought with a price, not of silver or gold;
Bought with a price of a value yet untold;
‘Twas the blood of Jesus, shed on Calvary,
Purchased by redemption and set me free.
O the cross, uplifted high,
So that all the world might see;
Bears the Lamb of God, to die
There on the cross of Calvary.
Such a ransom ne’er was known,
Such a love, to die for me!
Wondrous love, to leave a throne,
Choosing a cross on Calvary.
Can a sinner know the cost?
Was it worth a love like mine
That a King, to save the lost,
Pays the great price with life divine.
Good morning and God bless you.
Maranatha!

"You were bought with a price [you were actually purchased with the precious blood of Jesus and made His own]. So then, honor and glorify God with your body". 1 Corinthians 6:20 (AMP)
A little boy carried his new boat to the river. He placed it in the water and let out the string. All at once a strong current caught the boat. He tried to pull it back to shore, but the string broke and the little boat raced downstream. The little boy searched for the boat until night fell and he went home with a heavy heart. A few days later he saw his boat in a store window. He spoke to the store manager: ”Sir, that’s my boat in your window! I made it!” “Sorry, son, but someone else brought it in this morning. If you want it, you’ll have to buy it for one dollar.” The boy used all of his savings to buy his boat back. As he left the store, he hugged his boat and said, “Now you’re twice mine. First, I made you and now I bought you.”.
The above story clearly illustrates the redemption agenda of God for man. The redemption story is the greatest and most important news in the world (Luke 2:10). It is about how the Son of God paid the huge price required to set man free from the terrible prison of judgement. How the precious blood of the Lamb of God was shed to atone for man's huge loads of sin and avert its dreadful consequences. How man's overdrawn account of sin, guilt, condemnation and death were settled or written off completely (Romans 8:1-3). And God make two great claims on the life of man. First, He made them (Genesis 1:27) and then, He bought them back (1 Corinthians 7:23). What a great redemption plan!
"God went for the jugular when he sent his own Son. He didn’t deal with the problem as something remote and unimportant. In his Son, Jesus, he personally took on the human condition, entered the disordered mess of struggling humanity in order to set it right once and for all" - Romans 8:3 (MSG)
There are two categories of people on earth today. First, those that were created by God alone. Secondly, those created by God and also bought back by Him. Everyone in the former category are like caged birds in this world (John 8:34, Romans 3:23). They can never experience true freedom in life until they allow Jesus Christ to activate the 'buy back clause' on their behalf from the grip of sin, condemnation and judgement. On the other hand, everyone in the latter category have been rescued from the cage of sin in the shopping mall of life. Their redemption 'buy back clause' have been activated and they are genuinely saved. Their soul have escaped the wrath of God and the pain of second death ( Romans 6:23).
"If you serve sin as your master, it will pay you with death. But if you belong to our Lord Jesus Christ, God gives you a gift! That gift is life with God for ever". - Romans 6:23 (EASY)
Friends, could you please be sincere with yourself today. Which of these two categories do you belong to? Have you been bought back or is your soul still lost? Have you activated your "buy back clause"? Have you accepted the offer that Jesus Christ made to redeem man from the wicked cage of sin and death? Have you appropriated the power in the precious blood of Jesus Christ to secure your pardon and freedom from eternal condemnation? If you have not, please surrender your life to Jesus Christ now.
"So, God's Law shows that it is right for God to punish us. But Christ took that punishment away from us, because God punished him instead of us. It says in the Bible: ‘When people hang someone on a tree to kill him, it shows that God has punished that person.’ Christ died in that way so that God would bless the Gentiles in the way that he blessed Abraham. .."- Galatians 3:13-14 (EASY)
The lyrics of a wonderful hymn titled "Bought With A Price" speaks volume on the subject. May I urge to please prayerfully meditate on the lyrics of this hymn below as we thank our Saviour for the huge ransom He paid on that old rugged cross for our redemption over 2000 years ago.

My prayer for everyone who is yet to experience the power of redemption is that God will activate the 'buy back clause' in their contract with eternal condemnation. They shall be saved and empowered by the Holy Spirit to walk out of the shopping mall of judgement before the trumpet sounds in Jesus name.
Good morning and God bless you.
Maranatha!
