THE BELIEVER'S PATERNITY TEST

 "whoever says he lives in Christ [that is, whoever says he has accepted Him as God and Savior] ought [as a moral obligation] to walk and conduct himself just as He walked and conducted Himself."-1 John 2:6 (AMP)

A father and his son arrived in a small town looking for an uncle whom they had never seen. Suddenly, the father, pointing across the square to a man who was walking away from them, exclaimed, “There goes my uncle!” His son asked, “How do you know when you have not seen him before?” “Son, I know him because he walks exactly like my father.” (The Gold Mine, Lee Roberson)

A paternity test is the scientific means of establishing whether a biological relationship exist between a father and a child. The test compares the DNA profiles of a father and his alleged child to determine the validity of their claim. There is an urgent need for heaven to conduct paternity test on many professing believers in our generation. The result of this paternity test must be published before the trumpet sounds. The test will help to unravel all the vagabonds who have been parading themselves as children of God, Choristers, Pastors, Deacons, Apostles, General Overseers etc in the kingdom.

In 1 John 2:6, Holy Spirit states the procedures for conducting paternity test for any one who claims to be a believer. The fellow must have a striking resemblance with the saviour in mannerism and conduct. The believer's paternity test cannot be compromised or manipulated since God already knows those who are his (2 Timothy 2:19). And on the day of reckoning, when the ultimate paternity test result shall be announced, there will be many surprises. According to Luke 13:26-28, some highly respected believers will be tagged as "vagabond" and ushered into the lake of fire.

"Then you will begin to say, "But Master, we had meals with you. You taught us in the streets of our villages". But He will tell you, "No! I really do not know you. I do not know where you come from. You have done very bad things, so go away from me, all of you!" - Luke 13:26-27 (EASY)

Friends, are you sure you can pass the believers paternity test? If your DNA sample is collected and compared with that of Christ, what will be the result? Do you have any striking resemblance with our father in heaven? Are you a spiritual vagabond? Can others see the image of Christ in you? Is your life a contradiction to God? Please be sincere with yourself, repent and make your ways right with God before the trumpet sounds.

One powerful hymn that re-echoes the desires of any believer who wants to pass the paternity test is titled "Walking With Jesus". Please prayerfully meditate on the lyrics of this hymn and trust God for grace to pass the believer's paternity test.

WALKING WITH JESUS By Samuel L. Speck, (1897)

My days are swiftly passing by,

My time ere long will close,

But I’ve a home beyond the sky

Where I shall soon repose.

Refrain:

           Yes, passing gently, gently on

           To realms of holy rest,

           My soul is filled with rapt’rous song,

           I’ll sing among the blest.

Then help me, Lord, to ever be

A faithful child of Thine,

Washed in Thy blood that flowed so free,

And filled with love divine.

I press my hand, dear Lord, in Thine,

And walk by faith with Thee;

Oh, let Thy glory in me shine,

That men Thy life may see.

I walk and talk with Jesus now,

And lean upon His arm,

And to His scepter meekly bow;

He keeps me from all harm.

It is prayer that all backsliders shall be restored before their paternity result is announced. And all genuine believers shall remain on the narrow path till Christ returns to take them home.

Good day and God bless you.

Maranatha!

IS GRASS GROWING ON YOUR PATH?

"Never stop praying. Be ready for anything by praying and being thankful" - Colossians 4:2 (ERV)

The early Christian converts were very diligent about praying. Each one had their own special place outside the village where they went to pray in solitude. They reached these “prayer rooms” by using their own private footpaths through the brush. When grass began to grow over any of these footpaths, it was evident that the person to whom it belonged was no longer praying. Therefore, anyone who noticed such overgrown “prayer path,” would go to the prayerless believer and lovingly warn, “Brother/Sister, there is grass on your path!”

"Jesus returned to his three disciples. Now they were sleeping. He said to Peter, ‘Simon, you are asleep! You could not stay awake for even one hour! You must keep awake and you must pray. ....."-Mark 14:37-38 (EASY)

In the garden of Gethsemane, Jesus Christ discovered that Peter, James and John were no longer active in the place of prayer. Like many contemporary believers, the footpaths of these three disciples had overgrown with weeds of prayerlessness (Mark 14:37-38). They have become over confident, lazy and careless in climbing the mountain of prayer. The giant of prayerlessness had swallowed their personal devotions and love for God. Like the foolish Galatians, they wanted to use human strength to complete the task of grace that the Holy Ghost started in the place of prayer (Galatians 3:3). What an absurdity!

Beloved, please be sincere with yourself today. Are your footpaths already overgrown with grass? Has the giant of prayerlessness swallowed you up? Has the mountain of laziness and pride crippled your fellowship with God? Then, why are you no longer excited about the sweet hour of prayer as you used to do when you first got saved? Don't you think you need urgent help before it is too late?

Friends, God can help you rekindle the fire on our prayer altar today. That giant of prayerlessness engaging your destiny will be defeated by His grace today. However, please note that God cannot help backsliders and sinners until they repent. In fact, God does not listen to sinners (John 9:31). Therefore, I urge you to please repent and meditate on the lyrics of this wonderful hymn below:

I WANT THAT MOUNTAIN By Bill Harvey, 1989

I saw the Giant of Prayerlessness upon the mountain high;
He laughed so hard at my unbended knee.
No longer in the Wilderness I'll stay, and so I cry:
I want that mountain, it belongs to me!

Chorus:
          I want that mountain!  I want that mountain!
          Where the milk and honey flow, where the grapes of Eshcol grow,
          I want that mountain!  I want that mountain!
          The mountain that my Lord has given me.

There was a Giant of Laziness who said I wouldn't go
And witness for the One who set me free.
I'll come from out the Wilderness, I'll witness now I know;
I want that mountain, it belongs to me!

One faithless Giant upon the crest of Hebron's lofty height
Has vowed that he's the one to make me flee.
I'll climb from out the Wilderness! and trust Jehovah's might!
I want that mountain, it belongs to me!

Let ev'ry Giant of Distress and Unbelief and Sin
Get ready now to vacate, for you see:
I've come from out the Wilderness! I know I'm going to win!
I want that mountain, it belongs to me!

As the Lord lives, God will kindle a fresh fire of revival in His church all over the world. Every believer whose prayer-life has been plagued with spiritual diarrhoea and tuberculosis shall be healed before this day is over in Jesus name. Every giant of prayerlessness and mountain of laziness blocking your ways to fruitfulness in life shall be uprooted completely in Jesus name, Amen.

Good day and God bless you.

Maranatha!

BY GRACE, NOT BY WORKS

"For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast" - Ephesians 2:8-9 (ESV)

On the main entrance of the Nazi Concentration Camp in Auschwitz, Poland was a statement - "Arbeit Macht Frei". The statement which is being interpreted as “Work Sets You Free” assures people that if they worked hard, they would be set free. This promise of freedom was however a deception as about 1.1 million people were massacred in that camp during the second world war.

The modern day Nazi German soldiers are still preaching the sermon of "Arbeit Macht Frei" all over the world. They are still luring millions of people into eternal damnation through their deceptive ideology of "Work Sets You Free" as they did during the second world war. It is obvious there are many people in their concentration camp all over the world today. They believe that they can truly be ushered into Heaven on the basis of their good works. They seem not to understand that only faith in Jesus Christ for salvation can set them free (Ephesians 2:8-9, John 8:36). It is only Jesus Christ’s blood that liberates. He died to give us freedom from the penalty of our sins (Hebrews 9:28)

Beloved, please don't ever believe the "Work Sets You Free" sermon of those modern day Nazi German soldiers around you. Salvation can never be earned on the basis of good works. It can only be received through relationship with God's only begotten son - Jesus Christ (Acts 4:12)

"Jesus is the only one who can save people. His name is the only power in the world that has been given to save anyone. We must be saved through him!” Acts 4:12 (ERV)

One special hymn that re-echoes the message of God's grace that brings true freedom to man is titled "By Grace I'm Saved". Have you embraced the grace that bring Salvation to man (Titus 2:11)? If yes, then I say "a big congratulations" to you. But if not, I urge you to please cry unto God for mercy now. I can assure you that you will never regret you did.

BY GRACE I'M SAVED By Justin H. Knecht (1752 - 1817)

By grace I'm saved, grace free and boundless;
my soul, believe and doubt it not.
Why stagger at this word of promise?
Has Scripture ever falsehood taught?
No; then this word must true remain:
by grace you too shall heav'n obtain.

By grace! None dare lay claim to merit;
our works and conduct have no worth.
God in his love sent our Redeemer,
Christ Jesus, to this sinful earth;
his death did for our sins atone,
and we are saved by grace alone.

By grace God's Son, our only Savior,
came down to earth to bear our sin.
Was it because of your own merit
that Jesus died your soul to win?
No, it was grace, and grace alone,
that brought him from his heav'nly throne.

By grace! O mark this word of promise
when you are by your sins oppressed,
when Satan plagues your troubled conscience,
and when your heart is seeking rest.
What reason cannot comprehend
God by his grace to you will send.

By grace to timid hearts that tremble,
in tribulation's furnace tried,
by grace, in spite of fear and trouble,
the Father's heart is open wide.
Where could I help and strength secure,
if grace were not my anchor sure?

By grace! On this I'll rest when dying;
in Jesus' promise I rejoice;
for though I know my heart's condition,
I also know my Savior's voice.
My heart is glad, all grief has flown,
since I am saved by grace alone.

By grace! This ground of faith is certain;
so long as God is true, it stands.
What saints have penned by inspiration,
what in his Word our God commands,
what our whole faith must rest upon,
is grace alone, grace in his Son.

It's my prayer that everyone deceived and held captive in the concentration camp of sin and death will be set free by God before this day is over in Jesus name.

Good day and God bless you.

Maranatha!
